Google Calendar Quick Add
Google Calendar Quick Add is a Firefox Extension.
You can download it from the developer’s website or the Firefox Add-Ons site.
This extension is a real time-saver! It gives you the ability to add events to your Google Calendar without having to visit the Google Calendar homepage.
There are two ways to quickly add events:
- By pressing CTRL + ; [semi-colon] on your keyboard.
- By going to the top of your browser and clicking Tools > Google Calendar Quick Add:

In both cases, a text box will open where you can enter the event details:

This extension supports multiple calendars. Just click on the calendar name to toggle between your different calendars.
When you’re finished entering the event details, press the “Enter” key on your keyboard and you’re done!
Sure enough, when you visit Google Calendar, your event will be there:
