EverNote Web Clipper
EverNote is a free note-taking application. It’s desktop-based; meaning all notes are stored locally on your computer. EverNote is one of my favorite applications because it allows you to add “Tags” to your notes; which is a feature that many of the best web-based apps are lacking.
The EverNote Web Clipper is a Firefox extension that lets you quickly add notes to EverNote.
You can download the extension from the Official Firefox Add-Ons site, or you can grab it from the EverNote website.
Just click on the “Downloads” link:

Then find the web clipper download:

Once installed, you’ll notice an EverNote button on your Navigation Toolbar:

To save a new note, just highlight some text on a webpage and click the EverNote button.
Or, right-click on the highlighted text and choose “Add to Evernote” from the Context Menu:

The highlighted text is now saved as a new note in EverNote.
A small pop-up window will appear at the bottom-right corner of your screen. From here you can Tag the note, Delete it, or E-mail it to another person:

If you choose to do nothing, the pop-up will disappear automatically after a few seconds.
