WeatherBug is a Firefox Extension.

You can download it from the Firefox Add-Ons site.

This extension gives you WeatherBug updates and forecasts in your Firefox status bar.

After installing the extension and restarting your browser, you’ll be asked to choose the forecast location. In this example, we’ll choose New York City:

 

 

You’ll then see a set of icons in your Firefox status bar. They include the current temperature and 3-day forecast:

 

 

Clicking on any of these icons will bring up more detailed information in a small pop-up window:

 

 

If you’d like to change your location and customize the extension even further, just click on the green icon:

 

 

This will bring up the options window:
