Open Link Host
Open Link Host is a Firefox Extension.
You can download it from the developer’s website or the Firefox Add-Ons site.
This extension gives you the ability to open up a link’s host in a new tab or window.
For example, in the screenshot below you’ll see that the mouse pointer is hovering over a link called “CyberNotes.”
In the status bar you’ll notice where the “CyberNotes” link points to:
In the screenshot below, I’ve highlited the link’s host.
To visit the link’s host, just right-click on the link and choose “Open Link Host” from the menu.
You can then choose to either open the link host in the current window, a new window, or a new tab.
