Minimize To Tray Enhancer is a Firefox Extension.

You can download it from the developer’s website or the Firefox Add-Ons site.

**Note** For this extension to work properly, you also need to have the Minimize To Tray extension installed.

Minimize To Tray Enhancer includes a toolbar button. You have to manually place it on one of your toolbars.

To do so, go to the top of your browser and click View > Toolbars > Customize:

 

 

Locate the Minimize button:

 

 

Then, Left-click on the button and drag it to your toolbar:

 

 

Clicking on this button will minimize Firefox to your system tray:

 

 

In this extension’s Options Window, you’ll find a couple of enhancing features:

• Firefox can be minimized automatically when it is opened.
• Firefox can be set to start up with Windows.

 

 

If you’d like to bypass the toolbar button, uncheck the box marked “Hide Status Bar Item” and a button will be placed in your status bar:

 

 

Like the toolbar button, clicking on this will also minimize Firefox to your system tray.
