IE Tab
IE Tab is a Firefox Extension.
You can download it from the developer’s website or the Firefox Add-Ons site.
This extension allows you to see what a webpage looks like using Internet Explorer (IE) without having to leave your Firefox browser.
Why would you want to do this?
Well, there are times when a certain website will not load in the Firefox browser…You’ll get a message telling you that you need IE. With this extension, you can view the page (in Firefox) at the click of a button.
Also, web developers usually need to see how their pages are rendered in both Firefox and IE. This extension makes the process a little simpler.
After installing the IE Tab extension, you’ll notice a small Firefox icon in your system tray:

Left-Click on the Firefox icon and you’ll see the page reload, but you’ll actually be viewing it using the IE rendering engine. The icon in your system tray will also change to an IE icon:

If you’d like to go back to viewing the page using the Firefox rendering engine, just left-click on the IE button and the page will reload once again using Firefox.
When you are viewing a page using IE, you’ll also notice an IE favicon in your address bar:

There are several other ways that you can use IE Tab.
You can use the toolbar button (which you manually have to place on your toolbar):

You can right-click on a tab, and choose from the menu:

If you choose “Open in Ext. App.” the actual Internet Explorer application will open up.
Finally, you can right-click anywhere on the page and select from the context menu:
