QuickJava
QuickJava is a Firefox Extension.
You can download it from the Firefox Add-Ons site.
This extension gives you the ability to disable Java and/or JavaScript from your browser statusbar.
Normally, to disable Java or JavaScript, you have to go through the Tools > Options > Content menus. But this extension gives you quick access from your statusbar…hence the name QuickJava.
After installing the extension, you’ll notice the following icons in your statusbar:

The “J” stands for Java and “JS” for JavaScript.
Left-click on the icon that you would like to disable.
You have several options:



Left-click on the icon again to re-enable it.
There are no further customizations for this extension.
