Ubuntu Forums Menu


Ubuntu Forums Menu is a Firefox Extension.

You can download it from the Firefox Add-Ons site.


Ubuntu is one of the most popular Linux distributions. Dell Computer has even begun selling computers with the Ubuntu pre-installed.

One of the benefits of Ubuntu’s popularity is the very large community support that is available via the Ubuntu Forums.

This Firefox extension gives you quick access to those forums…and if you’re new to Ubuntu, you often find yourself in need of some help. I’ve used the forums several times myself, and it is pretty remarkable at how helpful they can be.

After installing the Ubuntu Forums Menu extension, just right-click anywhere on a page and you will notice a context-menu item for the forums:

 

 

If you open up the options window for this extension, you can even add a menu to the main toolbar:

 

 

Just look to the very top of your browser window to find it:
