Extended Copy Menu is a Firefox Extension.

You can download it from the developer’s website or the Firefox Add-Ons site.

This extension adds “Copy As Html” and “Copy As Plain Text” to your context menu.

First highlight some text (or a hyperlink).

Then right-click to bring up the context menu.

You’ll notice the following options:

 

 

Choosing “Copy As Plain Text” will remove all formatting from the text. When pasting the selection somewhere else it will be appear as unformatted plain text.

Selecting “Copy as Html” will place a copy of the hyperlink’s HTML to your clipboard. You can then paste the HTML somewhere else. Here is the HTML from the above example:
