InfoLister

You can download it from the Firefox Add-Ons site.

InfoLister creates a list of your installed extensions, themes, and plugins. You can then save a copy of this list as a backup.

Should something ever happen to your computer, you won’t have to rely on your memory to figure out everything you had installed on your browser.

There are several ways to access InfoLister.

First, go to the top of your browser and click Tools > InfoLister:

The second way to access InfoLister is through the toolbar button. You’ll have manually place the button on one of your toolbars. To do so, click on View > Toolbars > Customize:

Locate the InfoLister button:

Left-click and drag the button to one of your toolbars:

Using the Tools Menu or the Toolbar Button will provide you with the following window. It lists all of your extensions, themes, and plugins:

Click the “Save” button to backup this information to a file on your computer or USB.

If you’d like to upload the file using FTP, HTTP or HTTPS, click the “Upload” button.

You also have the ability to customize the downloads and uploads from the Options Window. Here are the screenshots of your options:

Finally, there is one more way to access InfoLister. Just type “about:info” into your Firefox address bar:

The list will open up in a new tab. You can only view the information using this method. You cannot Save or Upload.
