RSS Ticker is a Firefox Extension.

You can download it from the Firefox Add-Ons site.

RSS Ticker displays your Live Bookmark feed items in a ticker that scrolls across your screen.

This only works for Firefox Live Bookmarks, and not feeds from other readers. If you don’t have any Live Bookmarks when installing this extension, you’ll receive the following message:

 

 

You can place the ticker in one of two spots:

“Below the Statusbar”:

 

 

Or, “Below the Bookmarks Toolbar”:

 

 

Placing your mouse cursor over one of the feed items will cause the ticker to stop scrolling.

A small pop-up will appear that provides information about that feed item:

 

 

Left-clicking on the feed item will open it in your browser window.

Right-clicking will give you the following options:

 

 

Everytime you add a new Live Bookmark to your list, you will be asked if it should be included in the ticker:
