Hide Menubar is a Firefox Extension.

This extension gives you the ability to hide your Main Menu Toolbar.

What’s the Main Menu Toolbar?

It’s the toolbar located at the very top of your Firefox browser:

 

 

Normally, you only have the ability to show/hide your “Navigation Toolbar” and “Bookmarks Toolbar”:

 

 

But this extension adds “Mainmenu Toolbar” to the list:

 

 

Immediately after installing this extension, you’ll notice your Main Menu Toolbar has disappeared.

Don’t Panic!

Just press the “Alt” button on your keyboard and the toolbar will appear temporarily, i.e. until you click outside of the toolbar.

If you’d like to keep the Main Menu Toolbar up more permanently, just click on View > Toolbars > Mainmenu Toolbar.
