Google Utilities Button (GUtil)

GUtil! is a Firefox Extension.

You can download it from the developer’s website or the Firefox Add-Ons site.

Many people use at least one of Google’s many services. If you’re someone who uses a bunch of them, this extension may be for you.

After installing GUtil! you’ll see a new button and Firefox menu in your browser window:

You may not need both the button and menu. Fortunately, there is a way to hide either one of these, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

First we’ll look at what happens when you click on either the button or menu:

As you can see, a list of all your Google services appears. Clicking on any one of them will take you to the respective site.

You can pick an choose which sites you’d like to appear on the list. Just click on “Options” located at the very bottom of the list:

The Options Window will appear:

In the “Settings” section you can hide either the GUtil! button or menu.

On the right-hand side you can choose which Google services you’d like to appear on your list. There are 48 to choose from!

When you’re finished in the Options Window, restart your Firefox browser for the changes to take effect.
