The ClearURL Button is a Firefox Extension.

Isn’t it frustrating when you have to clear out one of those extra long URL’s from the Location Bar? Well, the ClearURL Button makes this process a lot easier. You can clear URL’s with the click of a button.

After downloading the extention you’re going to have to manually add the ClearURL Button to your browser. Here’s how:

Click on View > Toolbars > Customize:

 

 

The “Customize Toolbar” window will appear. Find the “Clear URL” button:

 

 

Hold down the Left-mouse button and drag the button to one of your toolbars:

 

 

You can click on this button to clear the URL from the Location Bar:

 

 

You’re now ready to start typing a new URL.
