The Status Bar
The status bar is located at the very bottom of the Firefox web browser.
It is highlighted for you in the image below:

The status bar is the browser’s way of relaying information to you.
For example, when a webpage is loading, you’ll see status in bottom-left corner of your browser:

When the page is finished loading, the following will be displayed in the status bar:

Also, when you place your mouse over a hyperlink, the web address will be displayed:

So the status bar is the browser’s way of showing you what is going on.
There are many extensions available (which won’t be covered here), that greatly extend the functionality of the status bar.
The longer you use Firefox, the more you’ll realize the value of the Status Bar.
