Import bookmarks from another browser

If you’re hesitant about switching to Firefox because you’ve accumulated lots of favorites in you’re other web browser, you need not worry. You can easily import all of your favorite websites with a few clicks of the mouse.

First, at the top of your Firefox browser, click on Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks:

 

 

A separate window, called the “Bookmarks Manager” will appear. 

At the top of the Bookmarks Manager window, click on File > Import:

 

 
You will be asked where your favorites should be imported from:
 

 
Choose the appropriate browser (or file) and click on the “Next” button:
 

 
You’re favorites have now been imported into the Firefox browser. Click “Finish.”
 
Close the Bookmarks Manager window and go back to your Firefox browser.
 
At the top of your Firefox browser, click on Bookmarks:
 

 
 
 The favorites from your old browser are now available in Firefox!
