Create custom folders for your bookmarks
In “Bookmark a page,” I pointed out how you can easily create a bookmark for later viewing. However, after some time, you may notice that you’ve saved so many pages that locating your bookmark becomes very hard.
Luckily, you can create custom folders for your bookmarks. In other words, all of your baseball and football links could be placed in a folder that you call “Sports;” all of your TV and Movie links could be placed in a folder that you call “Entertainment,” and so on.
To watch a video on creating custom folders for bookmarks, click on the “Play Video” button below. Or, scroll down for step-by-step instructions with screenshots.

Let’s say you want to bookmark the page NFL.com. But instead of placing this bookmark in the default “Bookmarks” folder, you’d like to create your own folder called “Sports.”
Follow the steps that I pointed out in “Bookmark a page,” until you reach the following screen:

Click on the button located to the right of the “Create in” drop-down menu. You will then see the following:

Click on the “New Folder” button.

Type in the name of your custom folder, and if you wish, you can type a description. In our example, the name of the new folder is “Sports.”
Then click “OK.”

As you can see above, your custom folder has been created. Click “OK” again.
Now, when you go up to “Bookmarks” at the top of your browser, you’ll see that your bookmark has been saved in your custom made folder.

Now let’s say you want to save another site to your custom folder. In our example, we’ll save the Major League Baseball site to our “Sports” folder.
Once again, we follow the steps laid out in “Bookmark a page,” until we get to the following:

This time, you hit the “Create In:” drop-down menu, and choose the folder that you’d like to save your bookmark in.
You now know how to create custom folders, and how to save new bookmarks inside them.
